Another suggested NFL rule change: "The penalty will be enforced on the ensuing kickoff" is nonsense. How about enforcing the penalty on the first play from scrimmage after the kickoff? Or does that make too much sense.

Hello, Stuart. Thank you for commenting. I could see your technique working well if you can go directly into a stud, but if that isn't possible I'd worry about stability and damaging the wall. I once had a heck of a clean-up for that very reason when a bookshelf I hung with hollow wall anchors came crashing down under the extra weight of a curious cat. Good luck with your rig should you build it, and let me know how it turns out. If you think this idea is viable, maybe you could forward the post to any companies you think capable of producing such a thing. I had Ikea in mind, of course....

Thats exactly what i've been looking for (only screwed into the wall, not attached to the bedstead). I can't have been the only person thinking of building their own.

Sleep can be hard to come by when dealing with new borns and toddlers. This suggestion would afford tired parents more time to count sheep. I think it makes sense and believe there is a definite market for something like it. Keep coming up with the ideas!

I'm a few years out from changing diapers but I know that if something this convenient had been available when I was changing diapers for my three, I would have been interested. I'm sure chemists could color code pee nowadays, although the see through feature would most likely serve most of the purpose intended at night.

I think it would be extremely useful. The only thing I might add is a way to make it more environmentally friendly, if possible. As for daytime, there is probably a subset of people who leave their kids with the diaper exposed and they would probably want to stay with something opaque. Good luck!!

I have often seen parents pull on the top of the diaper (front and/or back) to have a look. So, I think that anything that would make the checking process simpler and less intrusive would seem to be a good idea. Perhaps the diaper could "indicate" the presence of number 1, 2 or both.
